My booklet
I had to edit the times as I put '9am' instead of 11am.I put a white box with'information booklet' to make it more readable. And I also changed the background colour as in my opinion it looks more vibrant. I wanted to pick a different colour from my Digipak and Advert to bring more of a variety of colours. My final draft of my DVD Digipak
I changed the track name to 'Delta Sun' as it was incorrect and I also got rid of the 'work in progress' text on the front cover , as it did not relate to the text on the front. And I also reduced the size of the text on the 'scenes' page.I am very pleased with my Digipak as I think my pictures are approciate for the genre of the video and the model Katie potrays a strong image of the female gender.Drafts of my advert
The writing in both of them are still slightly complicated to read, I have experimented in Photoshop with the contrast and light (in the first picture 'overlay light' and in the second one the 'hard light). In the second advert I have a white box around the writing; however I don't like it because in my opinion it looks rather tacky.Pictures I have taken for my Digipak and advert
I really like this picture as the camera is low angle which makes the character look more powerful and the fact that she is not looking directly at the camera, suggests that she is hiding something away from us or she is generally arrogant.
I used a medium shot for this picture, in my opinion this picture is fairly good(in terms of the styling of Katie) however I want a more dramatic or dominating picture.
This picture looks more 'emo' rather than sporty. If it was for the Emo personal; it would of been approciate however this is for the sporty character, so it does not really follow he conventions and ideas of Sport wear or people who are about to exercise.
The good thing about this photo is Katie's facial expression, however the camera has not covered her hands and feet.
I could always edit this picture however I feel that I don't want to use it as her hands are not closed together, which means it would mean I would find I extremely challenging to edit.
This picture I love for the information booklet as it will sow a softer and more relaxed side to the Character.
I will definetly be using this picture as it potrays the model as a strong and in control character.
Again this potrays the image of a strong female role model. This shot reminds me slightly of the 'Queen of Rock n Roll' Joan Jett.Who's style was considered as a 'Rocker', she was breaking all the conventions of Rock music. As Rock music was considered a 'White male' genre of music. She was (and still is) strong female role model in the Rock industry as for Hayley Williams is in the Pop Punk music industry.
She's really is concentrating in this shot, it reminds of the Character that Uma Thurman plays in Kill Bill. It's like she is on a mission.

ABC project by Me, Sophie and Amy
For the 'ABC project' I worked with Amy and Sophie. We decided to keep it very simple and show an example of an object of the Letter. For example 'A' for Apple. The most challenging thing I think about this project was the fact that at times we disagreed about which object name we were going to have, but we eventually compromised with each other. We worked in a team and took each others opinion into account.
It was a success as we met our target; to make a simple, creative and very 'pictorial' video.

My favourite video's
Reasons why I like it:
Amazing choreography and special effects are used (duplicated characters) plus I think they all really promote a strong sense of womanhood. They are all in control plus the look so good!
Reasons why I like it:
It was a very Controversial video, it's full of Energy and is absolutely hilarious! Not only do I absolutely love the song and Eminem. The director has influenced from comics such as 'Captain America', 'Spiderman' and many more...
Reasons why I like it:
Great song (one of ,y favourite songs of all time), Transformaion of the characters and love how the arm comes out of nowhere.
Reasons why I like it:
Lots of POV shots(create a feeling of uneasyness), Fire is used; I think this goes well with the song.Legendary song and Lastly Corey Taylor's mask!
Reasons why I like it:
Really dominance of the male race, Heavy bass, Crimanal/ psychotic/ Gangsta themes, love the 3:05 bit where the rapper cashis breaks the glass :)- In my opinion that's quite epic.

My A2 transition Music video
This is my A2 Transition music video.I wanted to create a video that was fun, enthusiastic and quirky. So I came up with an idea of just filming my friends in Chapelfield Park.I didn't use a Tri-Pod so the video looks very unprofessional yet it is still 'watchable'.What I most liked about this video was traces of humour that appeared i.e when Rowan and Alan are playfighting. And Alan's 'slapping' the camera. However there were flaws, the constant moving of the music video did make it look very amateur and very unprofessional.
Overall I had loads of fun directing this music video!
